Songs & Stories of the American West
Aspen Black plays guitar, mandolin, ukulele, fiddle, bass, keyboard, and percussion. Her original songs embody themes of rural Americana: freedom, courage, independence, nostalgia, joy, vulnerability, nature, coming of age, family, travel, and love. Aspen’s CD, “Born to be a Cowgirl” is a 2024 ISSA Finalist for Female Album of the Year, her song of the same name won the Western Writers of America 2024 Spur Finalist Award for Best Western Song,
Kerry Grombacher plays guitar and mandolin. His original song, Range of the Buffalo, was the 2021 IWMA song of the Year. His songs have been featured on the ABC-TV adventure travel show, “Born to Explore and on the Putumayo World Records CD “Cowboy Playground,” which was released in over 60 countries.
